WOW!! What an awesome weekend! This was a Christian Women's conference with guest speakers Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer and Kay Arthur! 3 amazing women! It lasted Friday night and all day Saturday. There were approximately 50 women from our church (Southcrest Church) that went and spent the night together that Friday night! I shared a room with 3 precious ladies, Sheena, Kristie and Kathy. And guess what, they surprised me with a birthday celebration when we got back to the room on Friday night. Birthday cake and girl time with 20 ladies until 1am!! Who could ask for more? Ok, back to the conference. It turned out to be the birth of a new life for me! I realized that our time here is very short and we were chosen for an exact purpose. To stop focusing on myself, and my needs, and turn that focus on fulfilling God's will for my life! I am fired-up and can hardly wait what to see what adventures he has in store for me! Sounds like you had a wonderful time. If more young people could "figure it out" the world would be a better place for them, their children and everyone around them.
